 All boys of WBHS will wear the school uniform in accordance with the school uniform regulations.

The boys learning environment, as well as the image and tone of the school, is enhanced by the wearing of the correct school uniform. It encourages a sense of identity with the school, encourages pride in being a member of the school, pride in personal appearance and provides parents with a cost effective and practical method of clothing their young men.

The policy applies to the wearing of the uniform when the boys are at school, coming to (or going home from) school, or when representing the school.

The school prospectus will provide a clear statement of uniform regulations.

Boys, parents and staff all have a responsibility of seeing that the correct uniform is worn at all times (i.e., half uniform, half mufti is not acceptable at any time).

The PTA will review the uniform regulations from time to time and recommend changes to the Board of Trustees

A system for the collection and sale of quality second-hand uniforms will be provided.

The latest update of the school uniform regulations will be deemed to be an attachment to this policy.
