Diving Programme
New diving programme for International Students.
In association with award winning company Dive! Tutukaka we are pleased to offer a new diving programme for International Students starting in 2009. The course will take place at the beautiful Poor Knights Islands 23 kilometres off the Whangarei coast.
About the course
Students will follow a full academic programme at Whangarei Boys’ High School; Monday – Thursday and spend Friday taking part in dive courses or actual dives out at the Poor Knights Islands. The course can take place over two school terms; February – July (T1 and T2) or July – December (T3 and T4).
The course consists of:
Full academic programme at WBHS
1x PADI open water course
1 X PADI advanced open water course
20 dives at the Poor Knights Islands
About Whangarei Boys’ High School
Whangarei Boys’ High School is a traditional school situated about 2½ hours north of Auckland. We have been welcoming students to our school from all over the world for almost 20 years and offer a full range of academic, sporting and cultural opportunities for all of our students.
International students have a choice of staying with homestay families or in our school hostel.

Fees
