In association with Quantum Aviation students at Whangarei Boys' High School can be the holder of a Private Pilot's Licence (PPL). If you interested in a flying career, a Private Pilot's Licence is the best way of beginning.

What are the steps you need to take to gain a Private Pilot's Licence?

• Introductory flight
• Obtain a medical certificate
• Flying lessons
• Theory 

You will need to complete your theory exams before your Cross Country phase.

Cross Country excercises:

• Fly around New Zealand
• Firstly dual, then solo for the cross country endorsement in your log book.
