Whangarei Boys' High has set up a development golf programme with Northland Golf Club.The Golf Programme at WBHS will provide the students with the most comprehensive golf coaching and development programme in Northland.

THE PROGRAMME:

• Course management skills
• Knowledge of equipment
• Game preparation skills
• Life skills
• Short game skills
• Self discpline and control
• Provide basic full swing motion and sequence drills
• Understanding of short game needs

Coaching will be supported by the latest technology and up-to-date facilities to ensure the students are getting the most out of each session.

THIS INCLUDES:

• Video swing analysis, to video and analyse swing motion to correct the smallest detail in your swing
• The SAM Puttlab, putting measuring device linked to a computer that analyses and reports performance
• Balance lab to measure weight trnasfer in your swing
• The zelocity ball flight monitor, that tracks the ball and club and calculates the speed of both.
