Science Facilities
In 2005, a new Electronics laboratory was added to the Science Quad to facilitate the teaching of Electronics. There are seven other specialist areas in the Science Faculty. Six of these classrooms are modern, well equipped laboratories used for Biology, Chemistry and Physics. The Horticulture area is also well established with both a classroom and student gardens.
The laboratories are serviced by the technician from the main chemical and resource room.

Experienced and well qualified staff encourage student learning through participation in experiments and the opportunities offered by the facilities.
In addition to the specialist science equipment for each subject area, the science staff also use the audiovisual equipment in each laboratory along with the digital camera, data projector and video microscope to enhance student learning.
