Whangarei Boys’ High School warmly invites you to attend an “understanding NCEA” parent information evening on Tuesday, September 6th at 6.00pm in the Whangarei Boys’ High School hall.
This workshop is designed to provide parents and caregivers with information and guidance on the NCEA system and to share ideas about how you can best support your boys through their formal qualification years at secondary school.
There will be a short presentation on the NCEA system followed by a brief tips and guidance presentation on “supporting your fine young man to study”. We can’t promise miracles but we can share a few ideas about how to best support you boys at home with their study!
The event is ideally suited to parents of current Year 10 students, most of whom are embarking on their NCEA journey for the first time next year. However, this event is open to any parent/caregiver of any year level who simply wants to know more about the NCEA system. Students are most welcome to join you but their attendance is not a requirement.
NZQA resource booklets about the NCEA system will be available to take away.
If you have any further questions regarding this workshop please do not hesitate to get in touch.
