WBHS was runner-up with 3 out of 4 wins

*Dylan Hook was player of the Tournament (never played the game before) and Bronson Kake was picked as best WBHS player.

NSSSA Tennis Doubles Y9&10 Wednesday 22 November Thomas Neal Courts

Daniel Hammond and Antony Dubost won the NSSSA Junior Tennis Doubles and the Div 2 was also won by WBHS.

*Daniel Hammond is now in Australia representing NZ in the Under 14’s competition

NZ Secondary Schools Athletics

 

On Friday 1 December the following students participated in the NZ Secondary Schools Athletics competition held in Hastings.

 

Jordyn Hetaraka,  Nik Kini, Elijah Varney and Reuben Gregory.

 

Nik Kini came home with 3 MEDALS!

1st in Hammer – GOLD

2nd in Shot put – SILVER

2nd in Discus – SILVER

 

Jordan Hetaraka came home with 1 MEDAL!

2nd Hammer – SILVER

 

(Jordan has been plagued with an elbow injury so competed in the Shot Put too but wasn’t able to do his best)
